We think dental offices deserve straight answers. So we researched our own prices against authorized distributors and published what we found — the good and the not-so-good.

Why the big distributors won't answer this question

If you've tried to price-check Henry Schein, Patterson, Benco, or Darby against another source, you already know: it's nearly impossible. All four require a login before showing any pricing.

That's not an accident. Large distributors negotiate individual pricing per practice based on account size, spending history, and rep relationships. A solo general dentist and a DSO with 40 locations pay different prices for the same product — and neither knows what the other paid. This system benefits the distributor.
